   Morning, sweetheart, the discharge letter's here. Shall I read it to you? Doctor-speak sounds almost like Grandma's cookbook.

   Ja, aber langsam. Wenn da was vom Schwimmen steht, will ich's genau wissen, in drei Wochen mach ich nämlich mein Bronzeabzeichen.

   Sportkarenz heißt Sportverbot, und das Metall sind zwei hauchdünne Drähte im Knochen. Gestern unter Narkose eingesetzt, kommen sie in ein paar Wochen wieder raus.

   Sports abstinence means no sport, and the metal is two very thin wires in the bone. Put in under anaesthetic yesterday, they'll come out in a few weeks.

   Sechs Wochen? Dann ist die Prüfung ja vorbei! Das frag ich den Oberarzt selber, sonst liest du ihm noch Rezepte vor.
