Day 45: A Thyroid Diagnosis on the Train
On a regional train out of Magdeburg, Wiebke (A), a young woman who has just been to the doctor's, sits scrolling anxiously through her phone opposite Ulrike (B), a woman on her way home from work.
How to study this lesson 3 steps
- Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
- Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense. Point at (or tap) a German word to see what it means.

Not when it's underactive. Your body is just short of a hormone, and that can be replaced with a tablet.
