Day 100: A Playground on the Roof
At a kiosk opposite a building site in Bottrop, Karsten (A), the owner, serves Luis (B), a seven-year-old boy who has come in for football stickers.
How to study this lesson 3 steps
- Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
- Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense. Point at (or tap) a German word to see what it means.
- Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native German, for example from the Resources page. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it yet.

On the roof? And if the ball falls off, does the caretaker have to fetch it every time?

According to the plan, they'll have finished building the school by the time you're in your fourth year. Then you'll be going down a slide with a view over the whole town.
