By the end of Elementary you will
- Follow conversations about work, renting, health, relationships and travel when people speak clearly.
- Understand advice, complaints, excuses and opinions, and the reasons behind them (weil, obwohl, dass, with the verb at the end).
- Keep up with natural speech: wishes and "what ifs" (hätte, wäre, würde), and the little words that colour it, such as doch, mal and ja.
