Day 21: No Energy Drinks Under Sixteen
At a kiosk in Essen, Noah (B), a boy of twelve, puts a large can of energy drink on the counter, and Uwe (A), the owner, shakes his head.
How to study this lesson 3 steps
- Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
- Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense. Point at (or tap) a German word to see what it means.

Clever clogs. Instead of spending your pocket money on caffeine, you'd do better to take the apple spritzer, it costs the same.
