Day 126: Sissi on a Wednesday Afternoon
At the film afternoon he runs in a care home in Wuppertal, Matteo (A), a young volunteer, asks Lieselotte Hasenkamp (B), a resident, what she thought of 'Sissi', the 1955 film about the young Empress Elisabeth of Austria.
How to study this lesson 3 steps

Ich war sechzehn, als der Film ins Kino kam. Meine Schwester und ich haben die Karten damals von unserer Tante bezahlt bekommen, gleich dreimal in einem Winter.

Beeindruckt ist gar kein Ausdruck, ich hatte ein Bild von Romy Schneider über dem Bett. Damals hieß es bei uns Mädchen eben noch: Es lebe der Kitsch!
